Daniel has had a love for taiko since he was a kid. His parents would take him to taiko concerts as they would come to town. In 2014, Daniel saw Naruwan perform at a Chinese New Year festival and wanted to be a part of that. Soon after, he joined Naruwan Taiko with next to no prior musical experience. He appreciated how approachable taiko is to learn and became hooked. Since then, Daniel has been a student of Naruwan and is grateful for the friendships made and being a part of an amazing community.
