With HUGE generosity from House of China of the House of Pacific Relations and members of the taiko community of San Diego, we’ll be celebrating Diana’s big 4-0 birthday by having a full afternoon of taiko jamming and performances….and you’re all invited!*

*The event will consist of private potluck portion for Diana’s friends and family which will be roped off but the public is invited to set up around and observe the festivities and music throughout the day.

Weather permitting (fingers crossed!!) we’ll be playing pieces through the afternoon with a break in the middle and we’d love for taiko players from all over to jump in as well. And if you don’t play taiko, you’re still welcome to come and bring yourself a lawn chair, picnic blankets, and just sit and enjoy an afternoon of high energy and music. It’s sure to be a fun and memorable day.
